A&G Motorsports and Grip Tech have partnered in a shock services business. With the purchase of a state of the art Roehrig shock dyno, we are capable of building, repairing and dyno services on all types of racing shocks. Jon Reynolds Jr. (Grip Tech) has been building shocks for several late model series for over three years and with the addition of A&G Motorsports plans are to expand to several open wheel divisions as well. Saturday, March 27th, 2010: DuQuoin, Illinois

David Gough and the A&G Motorsports team competed in the POWRi midget “Dean King Memorial” at the Southern Illinois Center on Saturday, ending the night in 11th place after a couple of setbacks.

David started on the pole of his heat race and finished second, putting him in an 11th place starting position for the A-main. Early in the feature, he spun to avoid another vehicle and had to restart from the tail. David worked his way from last to 11th in an impressive display of patience in heavy traffic.

Chili Bowl 2010

Thursday, January 14th, 2010: Tulsa, Oklahoma

David started on the pole of heat race seven on the third qualifying night of the 2010 Chili Bowl. He led every lap, securing a starting spot on the inside of the 2nd row of the 2nd qualifier race, where he finished 4th. David started in 16th position in the A main. After contact on the first lap that damaged the tail tank and caused a slowly leaking rear tire, David brought the 6 car home in 17th place. For full field results, click here.

Saturday, January 16th, 2010: Tulsa, Oklahoma

David started inside the 7th row in the first C main. He worked his way up to 7th place and made contact with another car while battling for the 6th place transfer position, resulting in a spin. He restarted at the tail with one lap to go and finished in 14th position. For full field results, click here.

Rumble in Fort Wayne Results

Saturday, December 27th, 2009: Fort Wayne, Indiana

David qualified eighth quick on opening night of the Rumble series race in Fort Wayne, Indiana. After winning his heat race, David lined up on the outside front row of the A main, leading 20 laps before contact and a spin put him to the tail of the field. David worked his way steadily towards the front, finishing the night in third place behind Billy Wease and Bryan Nuckles. For full field results, please see TJSlideways.com.

Sunday, December 28th, 2009: Fort Wayne, Indiana

David and team began the day with a setback when a blown right-rear tire led to a brush with the wall in hot laps. After working to make repairs, David qualified sixth. Mechanical issues struck again in the heat race, where he finished sixth. David took the checkered in first place in the second semi-feature, earning a 10th place start in the A main, where he battled his way to his second third place of the weekend, finishing behind Billy Wease and Dave Darland.
