Rumble in Fort Wayne Results
Saturday, December 27th, 2009: Fort Wayne, Indiana
David qualified eighth quick on opening night of the Rumble series race in Fort Wayne, Indiana. After winning his heat race, David lined up on the outside front row of the A main, leading 20 laps before contact and a spin put him to the tail of the field. Sunday, December 28th, 2009: Fort Wayne, Indiana
David and team began the day with a setback when a blown right-rear tire led to a brush with the wall in hot laps. After working to make repairs, David qualified sixth. Mechanical issues struck again in the heat race, where he finished sixth. David took the checkered in first place in the second semi-feature, earning a 10th place start in the A main, where he battled his way to his second third place of the weekend, finishing behind Billy Wease and Dave Darland.
